Refurbishing Technician

Refurbishing Technicians are responsible for testing, updating firmware, upgrading features, and performing component updates (memory, HDD, CPUs) according to
customer requirements. This role requires following detailed instructions, working with various types of equipment, and ensuring all units meet quality standards before shipment.

Responsibilities:

• Required to read and follow instructions on a travel sheet
• Working on equipment ranging from but not limited to scanners, printers, PC’s, Point of Sale Equipment, battery backups, cash drawers and tablets
• Learn to use diagnostic software
• Receive production/Repair Orders and verify parts and equipment are correct
• Report any equipment shortages or fallout promptly 
• Refurbish equipment to standard listed on order
• Complete orders to be shipped by deadline

​Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and programs
• Must be hard working, self-motivated and detailed oriented
• Manage time and priorities to meet deadlines
• Must exhibit ability to multitask with minimal supervision
• Must be fluent in English
• Fluent in Spanish is a plus

Compensation:

A reasonable estimate of the base salary for this role ranges between $15.00 – $18.00 per hour. The range considers factors that are included in compensation decisions such
as skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, as compensation
is based on the facts and circumstances of each individual case.
