Field Service Technician
Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining IT hardware and peripherals in live customer environments.Â

Responsibilities:Â
- Troubleshoot, repair, install, and de-install IT hardware and equipment in customer environmentsÂ
- Complete maintenance and recovery of supported hardware within strict SLA requirementsÂ
- Manage service requests for both projects and break/fix support.Â
- Maintain accurate, timely updates on all service tickets per documentation standardsÂ
- Coordinate with customer support centers regarding service updates and technical issuesÂ
- Handle logistics including transportation, setup, and proper management of hardwareÂ
- Work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, as neededÂ
Qualifications:Â
- High school diploma or GEDÂ
- Ability to work in physically demanding or adverse repair environmentsÂ
- Willingness to travel locally and out of town (approximately 10% travel); mileage and travel expenses reimbursedÂ
- CompTIA A+ Certification or associate’s degree in IT or related fieldÂ
- Minimum 1 year of IT support experience (retail or store environments)Â
- Proficiency with POS systems, networking, printers, digital multimeters, cabling, etc.Â
- Experience with sub-assembly hardware repair and troubleshooting utilitiesÂ
Compensation:Â
A reasonable estimate of the base salary for this role ranges between $22.00 – $28.00 per hour. The range considers factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organizational needs. Please note, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each individual case. Â
