Forklift Driver
The Forklift Driver is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise within warehouses as assigned.
Responsibilities:
• Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, pallet jack, etc.) to load, unload, and transport materials.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Inspect and maintain forklifts daily, reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
• Perform inventory checks, cycle counts, and record material movements.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Follow company policies, OSHA regulations, and site safety procedures at all times.
• Utilize ERP software for picks, transfers, cycle counts and consolidations.
Qualifications:
• Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial environment preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for long periods.
• Basic math, computer, and inventory skills.
• Good communication, attention to detail, and situational awareness.
• Fluent English, bilingual a plus.
Compensation: A reasonable estimate of the base salary for this role ranges between $18.00 – $20.00 per hour. The range considers factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organizational needs. Please note, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each individual case.
