Maintenance Supervisor
The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring that all equipment, systems, and facilities remain safe, functional, and efficient. This role manages maintenance staff, coordinates work orders, schedules preventative maintenance, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The Maintenance Supervisor plays a key role in minimizing equipment downtime and supporting continuous improvement. Needs to be an overall versatile individual.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise, train, and evaluate maintenance technicians and support staff.
• Assign work orders and prioritize tasks to meet operational needs.
• Monitor performance, provide feedback, and support ongoing development.
• Maintain a positive, safety-focused work environment
• Oversee routine and preventative maintenance programs for equipment and facilities.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, or structural issues.
• Ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate work with outside contractors, vendors, and inspectors.
• Assist in planning facility upgrades, equipment installations, and capital projects Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• 3–5+ years maintenance experience, including supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Fluent English. Bilingual a plus.
Compensation: A reasonable estimate of the base salary for this role ranges between $25-$35 per hour. The range considers factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organizational needs. Please note, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each individual case.
