Job description
The purchasing assistant will be responsible for day-to-day assistance to the Purchasing Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Process purchase orders
• Follow up and review Eta’s with suppliers
• Update system with tracking numbers and additional information
• PO and Invoice reconciliation with Accounts Payable
• Backup to the Purchasing Manager
• Resolve PO discrepancies with suppliers
• Monitor open Purchase Orders and coordinate timely shipments to warehouse
• Assist with general office functions
• Special Projects or tasks as needed
