Location: Elgin, IL Department: Enterprise Services Reports to: Director of Operations
This role involves enhancing and managing our Salesforce platform to support contract management, user administration, reporting, and business intelligence needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce development and administration, as well as a passion for improving business processes through automation and data insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Salesforce Development & Customization:
- Design, develop, and implement custom solutions on the Salesforce platform to meet business needs, particularly around contract management workflows and user requirements.
- Utilize Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce tools to create custom functionalities, applications, and integrations.
- Manage and optimize Salesforce components including custom objects, fields, and page layouts.
- Manage Salesforce integration with NetSuite, utilizing Mulesoft.
Contract Management Support:
- Salesforce to streamline contract lifecycle management, including contract creation, approval workflows, and reporting.
- Collaborate with business teams to ensure contract management processes are efficient, effective, and compliant with internal policies.
User Administration:
- Administer user roles, profiles, permission sets, and security settings to ensure appropriate access controls and maintain data integrity.
- Provide support for user onboarding, training, and troubleshooting.
Reporting & Business Intelligence:
- Design and implement custom reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions to support decision-making and business intelligence initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and ensure timely and accurate delivery of insights.
- Utilize Salesforce’s reporting and analytics tools, including Einstein Analytics (Tableau CRM), to provide actionable insights across different business areas.
System Maintenance & Continuous Improvement:
- Perform regular system health checks, data cleansing, and updates to ensure Salesforce remains optimized and up to date.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues, proposing and implementing improvements as necessary.
- Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, new features, and best practices to continuously enhance the platform.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Salesforce development and administration (Salesforce Administrator Certification required, Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications preferred).
- Strong experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and SOQL.
- Familiarity with Salesforce reporting tools, Einstein Analytics (Tableau CRM), and integration capabilities (REST/SOAP APIs, Data Loader, MuleSoft).
- Experience with contract management processes and solutions.
- Strong understanding of user management, security settings, and permission models in Salesforce.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools and methodologies.
- Salesforce certifications in Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Knowledge of NetSuite’s SuiteScript.
